Hey - my name is Mady!
I’m a singer/songwriter born in South Carolina and now living in Nashville, TN. I’m different. Some might call me quirky, even socially eccentric. A ginger with the personality to match, my friends know I get “hangry” so they always have snacks nearby. I like all kinds of music except the stuff I don’t. And, it’s not just a t-shirt – I really do love Jesus and sweet tea.
Songwriting should be intentional – not solely for popularity, but as purposeful art. Engaging my audience with music that tells a story and relates to them on a personal level is my desire. I hope you feel encouraged, inspired – and maybe even a little nostalgic – as you listen!
Churches & student groups, coffee shops & other small venues.
Also available for camps & retreats as a solo acoustic artist
or with a full band.
How Songwriting Has Helped Me Grow in My Faith
I’ve been writing songs for about 10 years now and was recently reflecting on how songwriting has helped me grow as a person. I’ve learned so much about myself and my relationship with God through writing over the years. These are some of my takeaways!
Ready to serve ... and sing!
Nashville-based artist Mady Williams is hitting the road again in 2020 with the “You Are Loved” tour! Her mix of transparent, honest and soulful music will both encourage and challenge you in your faith journey. Mady will share stories about how she has come to understand and embrace the truth that we all, in fact, are perfectly loved by Jesus. Ideal for churches and student groups or coffee shops and other small venues – Mady is also available for camps and retreats. Mady can perform as a solo acoustic artist or with a full band.
Mady graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in May 2019 with degrees in worship arts and com-mercial music. She is a singer songwriter and released her first professionally recorded and produced EP in December 2017. In 2019, she released an EP entitled “Where I Am” and has recently written several new songs to encourage and challenge believers. Mady will be back in the studio in early 2020 record-ing new music with her full band.
While at Trevecca, Madyson traveled the Southeast leading worship at camps, youth retreats and worship services for more than 70 dates each year. In recent years, she has been privileged to record background vocals for Mandisa’s single with Toby Mac, “Bleed the Same,” and for three tracks on the latest release by Casting Crowns. Mady was privileged to be the opener for Colton Dixon twice in 2018. She currently performs her original music throughout Nashville at local venues, as well as across the Southeast.

Let me help you write the song that’s in your heart! I will take your thoughts and ideas, along with your story, and write a song that is just for you! It’s perfect for proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions. You can email me your ideas and story, then we will spend 30 minutes by phone or Skype and I will ask you some questions to help narrow down the focus of the song. I’ll spend a couple of weeks working on it, and will let you hear a rough version that you can approve.
Once you do, I will record an acoustic version and provide you with an MP3 file that you will own and can use however you like. The whole process will take no more than 30 days. It’s a gift that will be treasured forever! Click on the link below for details.

Telling the Stories of Jesus
Over the past few months, Madyson has been working hard on some new music and plans to release in May! She’ll be hitting the road this summer to bring mission-focused, acoustic worship experiences to churches. “We’re honored that Madyson is using her platform to not only to share her passion for Jesus, but also to tell the story of The Hands and Feet Project!” – The Hands and Feet Project (founded by Christian band Audio Adrenaline).
